About Andrich
Since 1997, IDER has established itself as the leading international forum where
specialists in disaster readiness meet to develop effective disaster avoidance, readiness
and response techniques and strategies. Covering both human and natural disasters,
from fire and flood to terrorist attack, IDER has explored the role of the media
during disasters, training for preparedness, planning initiatives, disaster responder/emergency
services interoperability and international standards and certification. IDER uses
case studies, such as on earthquakes, floods, fires and terrorist attacks, to identify
the many lessons to be learnt and, very importantly, identify “best practice”.

IDER (International Disaster & Emergency Resilience) is a conference, with exhibits, where best practices and solutions to ensure readiness for, response to, recovery from and resilience for disasters and major emergencies, whether caused by nature, accident or terrorism are identified, implemented and shown. It has also become an international network of emergency responders.
The 11th IDER was held in Florence, Italy, on
Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th April 2011
and was hosted by the University of Florence, Centre for Civil Protection and Risk Studies (CESPRO).
Details of the 12th IDER will be announced later.
Andrich International Ltd training & simulation events (Training Trends & Technology - t3) are organised with Halldale Media. They are primarily for those who have a professional interest in training for the rail, road, maritime, medical, general aviation, power engineering, offshore, industrial, security and emergency response sectors.
The third “Training Trends & Technology” seminar will be held at the Westminster Conference Centre, 1 Victoria Street, London in September/October 2012
TiLE (Trends, Technology, Theming and Design in Leisure Environments) provides networking events for owners & operators of and suppliers to leisure venues that entertain, inform and/or educate. The first TiLE was in Maastricht in 1991.
TiLE provides the business forum for operators of attractions, venues and facilities that are used by the public in its leisure time. TiLE presents the latest in products and design; provides an opportunity for the leaders in the industry, from around the world, to meet; and shows how attractions can increase visitor numbers and revenue. There is now so much crossover between leisure and entertainment attractions; museums and other educational and cultural venues; and retail and corporate facilities that the dividing lines between individual sectors are blurring, with all areas able to learn from each other.
